MARNI FOR H&M SS12 AFRICAN INSPIRED COLLECTIONS

I don’t know if any of you know this but I’m an H&M fanatic! I love everything they do, even the designer collaborations that I can’t afford, I admire from my computer screen. 🙂

They recently launched their Marni collection which included a few african prints- well, one print for about 13 different clothes. Maybe this is part of the reason the collection attracted a niche crowd. It wasn’t as busy as past collaborations with other designers.

They have also received criticism over the model used in the campaign, claiming she looks ghost-like.

Although fans weren’t as crazed about this collection as they were about versace last november, H&M have still sold more than they expected.
